September 26, 2009, Typhoon Ondoy brought a month's worth of
rainfall to Metro Manila and nearby areas in just a few hours,
causing severe flooding which resulted in the loss of many lives and
the displacement of hundreds of thousands of people."
It doesn’t matter where you extend
your help, as many of our countrymen remain needy, homeless and
permanently scarred by Ondoy’s aftermath, and your help would
certainly be put to good use in many relief centers nationwide. It
doesn’t matter if you can only spare a little, since every little
bit counts. In fact you can just give a little of your time by
sorting out and packing food, clothing, and medicines… or contacting
your fellow batchmates in your area for further info. Again

Batchmates,
Our batch is preparing/coordinating relief efforts for the ondoy victims.
The following efforts are being made requiring all our support (moral,spiritual,financial,
physical)
1. Partnership with ABS-CBN foundation re distribution of their repacked
relief goods,tentatively set next weekend. Our batch will provide manpower
and truck (care of rey victoria). This initiative is being coordinated by
Chi Chi Herrera.
2. Coordination and support for our bene bros/sis relief efforts.They are
presently engaged in relief ops in karangalan in Cainta, Muntinlupa and
Pateros. This is care of Mon Mitra.
3. Fundraising activities abroad via batchmates e.g., desertbedans,
batchmates in the US, etc. Cash or in kind (used clothes, blankets, etc).
4. I am also coordinating with my sis re their group's fundraising in the
midwest.
5. For batchmates with experience in relief ops, we are appealing for your
involvement e.g., Regi Umali
The balikbayan boxes from abroad will be in time for christmas. This will
surely boost the season.
Please take note that after the relief efforts, the next stage is rehab.
Our less fortunate will need help in rebuilding their homes.

site is only as good as the info we have. We need updates of
our former classmates DEAD or ALIVE. This site will probably
expire by the year 2050. The last surviving person on this
list (shall we say the winner) should maintain this site at
all cost.
