Class 4-45, or WAH (we are
honorable. honored, handsome, humble, honest, etc.) class adviser
Ms. Maria Luisa Mendero) 45 alias STARS of 45 was an "all star
cast" in all aspects of high school campus life. We were "crème de
la crème". The class gave honor to the alma mater by leading the
College teams towards NCAA championships. Almost all of the captains
of the Juniors team were in 45: Joey Mendoza (Basketball), Ralph
Paterno (Softball), Alex Jose (Football), and Rolly Arjonillo
(Volleyball). We had handsome members of the SBC Golf team, Track
and Field, Model Platoon, Tae Kwon Do, Softball, Volleyball and
Basketball. We were the team to beat in the intrams. We had
honorable men who were Club Prez, Echoes editorial board members and
Glee Club.
Due to the terpsichorean abilities of the class and the best
qualities a class adviser ever dreamed of both in extra curricular
and academics, the high school administration awarded the class of
WAH 45 with "Excellence in Academics" for the whole fourth year
level. Yes, WAH 45 had the brains and brawns and of course beauty,
too. The class maybe the "envy" of other classes since we were
represented by all "genders". We had most of the "PoBedans" or
"fadidays" of the batch who charmed their way through with wits,
elegance, talent, humor and zest. Need I say more?
Kudos to our late Class Adviser Ms. Maria Luisa Mendero who guided
the class with patience, understanding and TLC! Let us also remember
our departed classmates who are now with our LORD- Antonio Juarez
and Ramon Santos. Life is too short. Lets all cherish it while it
lasts. And memorable events like our homecoming will surely add to
our happy thoughts. For San Beda, our Country and our God! (By Alain
