Class 4-40 or BUGITS (Bedan
Under Grads In Tremendous Spirits under Mrs. Manuela Leonora Mohnani
as class adviser) was unique in all sense. We had the extreme,
from the jolliest and most kalogs to the most serious of virgins
among the brood. For starters, we had the coolest president, who was
so cool, he didn't have any clue what was going on in our class and
he got blamed for it. We had the coolest teacher/ moderator in high
school faculty. Our class was so cool, who in their wildest dream
will ever have their high school group-photo taken with a
fully-burnt building as their background, only section 4-40. Boredom
was never in our vocabulary for each of us brought life to the
class, and each one of us was equally respected. So much fine
stories to tell, only us will understand. So funny stories, even our
teachers could not stop laughing. It was just an acceptable fact, we
were just simply cool, but we tend to get things done and we
excelled. We were the natural envy of the batch. We had the stars
and soon to be stars in our class. We had Adobo I and Adobo II. We
had the classic Hobarns I and II. Our section was so versatile, that
the class was involved into so much aspects of student life. From
academics to sports we were there. We got NCAA athletes, from
basketball, football, baseball, tae kwon do, swimming, track and
field. We didn't miss entertainment for we had the best musicians,
dancers, actors and singers in our batch. We got Arts. We had the
best artists, writers, and photo journalists. We got Leadership. We
had the corpse commanders, student marshals, and club presidents
among us. We got Fashion. Nobody can beat the trends that some of
our classmates paraded in the campus. Plus not to mention, we had
the most famous "joker" in the batch, the guy with the "real racing
car", the cutest guy, the deadliest guy, the grooviest, and the most
"high" to name a few. Sad to say, the only thing we didn't have were
the "fadidays" which most of the sections in our batch were happy to
cherish and call them their own. It was great to be able to
reminisce such memorable past. Bugits 40, a classic on it's own,
will surely be missed. Note:Let us also remember our departed
classmate, "Kid" Sunder Vivas who is now with our LORD. Life is too
short. Lets all cherish it while it lasts. (By Atoy Gastrock) |
